With Spring here and Summer right around the corner, I've really been in the mood to make the girls and I some new clothes. So, doing a little searchy this morning and I found a few nice tutorials.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Nothing crafty to show you on my end. Unless you want to see the hoopla of WIP's I have going on right now at the moment.

Taking a break today from my crafty shmooze and thought I'd bring you some craft projects in case you need some inspiration.

• Green Kitchen has a nice tutorial for A-line skirt with glue set zippered
• Two Little Banshees has the cutest (easiet) skirt pattern. I think I'll make L. one for every day of the summer.
• Via BellaOnline, just in time for Easter is this adorable little bunny.

• The most cutest little bag. Via Vintage Ric Rac. I want to make myself one in this fabric.
• Nice little wristlet via JavaJem.
• I want to make both my girls this cute little pochette or this cute little pouch for their "shopping" days. (Instructions are in Japanese but it seems pretty easy to figure out.)
• MollyChicken's so sweet, and so cute, little Lavender Baby.
• Adorable embroidery patterns from The Floss Box. (Definetly worth looking around on her site, she has tons of free cross stitch patterns as well)

Found it!

Remember back at the beginning of the year when I mentioned that I wanted to branch out on my knitting abilities and maybe one day I will knit me up a sweater? No, you don't, ok, then click on the link here. (And yes, I still want to knit up the Wicked pattern, just waiting for the right yarn to fall in my lap.)

This evening I was browsing around through my blog links that I have saved in my bookmarks and came across one that I don't even remember the last time I read it or even how I found the blog. But I found the sweater that I want to make and it's just too darn cute and would be the perfect little springy type of sweater to wear. In Knit Picks Shine Worsted in either Sea Spray or Terra Cotta, not sure yet.

Oh, right, the sweater pattern, and to make it even better, the pattern is available for free! How in the heck did I miss this I will never know but I do believe that it was fate!

Maple Leaf and a Hat Formula

Today L. and I had to go to the store and this beautiful red leaf caught my eye. Just laying there on the ground in the cold rain (it's been raining all day). I guess L. and I both found it at the same time and she said "Awwww! Can we keep it?" So, we picked up the leaf, placed it in the car and after we returned from the store the first thing she wanted to do was dry the leaf off. That we did and I took a picture of it to capture the beauty of the reddness. If anyone knows me, knows that red is my all time favorite color. Right up there with avocado green (but not together unless it's Christmas time).

Then today I was browsing the computer to find the perfect knitted hat pattern for the girls, myself, and James. I have a hat pattern for James (of course his will be done in black, not hot pink, although I am almost tempted to make it in hot pink), and have one for K. (knitted up in some pink yarn of course), as well as myself (I love the feminine detail of the lacy pattern), but I can not for the life of me find a nice knitted hat pattern for L. (I was going to do Bunny Hat from SnB Nation but I got lost in the short rows and, after re-doing it about 3 times decided to frog it). For some reason everything I find is made with some funky fun fur yarn and (no offense to the designers) but just isn't my style. Anyways, so I decided to Google "children's knitted hat pattern" and after still no luck I was just about to give up until I found this. It's a formula for knitting a hat. Now I can actually design my own little pattern and get a nice knitted hat for L. Talk about 2 birds with one stone!

Last night I was browsing around on WhipUp and found some really cool tutorials that I thought I would share with ya.
~Yo-Yo Tutorial. I've always wanted to make these because over on Craftster they are making so many cute things with these little yo-yo's.
~Awesome way to cover up your tape measure. It is really cute and you could make them and give them as gifts to all your crafty friends.
~The cutest little apron for that little one in your life. I want to make these for both my girls so they don't keep trying to steal my aprons.
~This cute little pillow case dress just screams summer time.
~Or this cute embroidery bag to tote around all your embroidery goodies.
