Nobody puts Baby in the corner

As I am sure alot of you remember watching the movie Dirty Dancing. Ok, so to prove to you how young but not to young I am, I remember having a sleep over for one of my friend's birthdays and we watched Dirty Dancing on (of course) VHS. I was about 7 or 8 years old when it came out and I remember sitting there with all the other girls and ooing and aweing (um I think that's how those words are spelled) over Patrick Swayze. How handsome he was, how much of a ladies man he was, and of course how he fell in love with Baby. I remember sitting there and the song "Hungry Eyes" was playing and of course me being 7 or 8 years old thinking it meant you are searching for some food. Of course I was thinking I had "Hungry Eyes" and asked my friends Mom if I could have more popcorn.

Ok so onto my point. Well my favorite part of the movie was when Johnny told Baby "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" and I was going around the house for about a week after watching the movie saying "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" (I think it was because when my brother and I would get into trouble my Mom and Dad would put us in the corner.) Well, being that when L. does something she is not suppose to, we put her in the corner. They were playing the commercial for Dirty Dancing the other day and in the commercial they showed the part where Johnny tells Baby that line. My youngest cracked up laughing and repeated it. So I HAD to get it on video because I thought that it was just WAY to cute the way she says it. So here ya go, the video of L's take on the Dirty Dancing movie.

Oh my gosh, that is so cute!

I was in Grade 8 when it first came out "on tape." Sigh.
