A while ago I had signed up for this swap over on Craftster and it was so much fun. After I received my swap partners information I had been slowly piecing everything together. I got L.'s hat completed last night! She absolutely loves it. I adjusted the pattern just a bit to fit her and instead of knitting for 5" as the pattern calls for, I only knitted for 4.5". Spending some good quality time today in my craft room. It feels good to be sitting behind my sewing machine again. I haven't stitched anything in almost 2 weeks. Oh, and I have a little assistant. L. is doing very well today helping me out. It's nice. Of course what I'm making today will be for her so I think that's why she wants to help out. Either way, I'll take all the help she has to offer.

I have add this tutorial stored on my computer for some time now and being that I was able to find a bunch of craft things that I forgot I had I thought I would go ahead and make it. Well, we started packing and moving and got all my wall hangings and some of my knick knacks down at our new house. I'm actually being really optimistic about all of this and have a good feeling. Yesterday I got a message from ninjanator that because she lives in an apartment and no one is home during the morning I could go ahead and post what I had made her for the swap since she won't get it till Saturday. Fabric Covered ButtonsOriginally uploaded by multicrafty. My new toy! I'm SO in love with this thing. I've already used up the 2 that came with the kit and am probably going to head back out to the craft store to pick up more. It's SO easy and SO much fun. The only hard part is 1. picking out the fabric, and 2. deciding where exactly you want to place the fabric and what needs to be centered.
